Insurance Information: Please check with your insurance provider to see if your benefit plan covers a Registered Psychotherapist or Registered Psychologist.

Session Fee: $100/hr for psychotherapy services, $170/hr for psychology services, sliding scale available for non-insured clients.

Consultation Offered: Mina offers a free 15-minute phone or video consultation.

Are you feeling stressed, overwhelmed and burnt out, but can't stop running through life at full speed? How often are you using unhealthy coping strategies like drowning yourself in productivity, socializing and spending to avoid these thoughts and feelings? Do you feel depressed, anxious and alone as if no one will ever understand you? Who is that person looking back at you in the mirror?

 

I understand what you're going through because I have been there. It is easier to fill your schedule with endless activities than to sit still and face the discomfort. Facing your habits is hard. Changing them is even harder. I cannot promise it will be easy, because it is going to be very difficult. What I can promise you, is that I will be here to guide, support and encourage you through the process. 

 

I am passionate about helping people with issues like self-doubt, esteem, and worth, ultimately leading to growth. I have experience helping individuals and couples overcome challenges like emotional expression, trauma, abuse, violence, betrayal, relationships, grief & life transitions. 

 

Through an open & empathetic environment, we’ll examine patterns to understand the reasons behind your disconnected thoughts, feelings & actions. You will learn techniques like breathing & mindfulness to improve awareness, intentions, confidence & control of your behaviour. Together, we will explore your past, solve your current issues, and improve your self-love, so you can feel calm and at peace. You have the power to choose a more balanced and fulfilling life.

Mina is currently completing the internship component of the Master of Arts, Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University. She has also completed the Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples Externship.

Mina is currently available Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays in the afternoon and evening.  She is offering in person therapy as well as telephone or online sessions.
