Personally Speaking

Asking for help is a courageous step, and finding the right therapist can feel overwhelming. My name is Tyler, and I have years of experience supporting people just like you. I understand the vulnerability it takes to open up, and I deeply value the trust my clients place in me.

With over four years of experience as a counsellor specializing in addiction, I have witnessed firsthand the power of empathy, resilience, and meaningful dialogue in overcoming life’s toughest challenges. My approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and the belief that everyone has the potential to thrive.

I specialize in working with individuals who grapple with negative self-talk, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, low self-compassion, and trauma. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and narrative therapy, I help clients challenge self-critical thoughts, cultivate a positive mindset, and embrace gratitude as a tool for growth. I am particularly passionate about supporting men’s mental health and eencouraging self-discovery and confidence in those who may feel stuck or disconnected from their inner strengths.

As part of the Couples Therapy Centre team, I also work with couples to build stronger, more fulfilling relationships. I provide a safe, inclusive space for partners to explore their concerns, deepen their connection, and rediscover joy and mutual support in their relationships.

Whether you are seeking to quiet the inner critic, navigate perfectionism, or rebuild intimacy with a partner, I am here to walk alongside you on your journey. Let’s uncover your strengths, foster growth, and create a life that feels aligned with your values and aspirations.

There is strength in vulnerability, and success comes from taking that first step. Let’s take it together.
