Crystal brings 20+ years of experience working in community mental health organizations, family health teams and clinical hospital social work.
Crystal is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers (OCSW) and
Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO)
and she has extensive experience working with people from all walks of life.
Her education includes a Bachelors of Arts from the University of Guelph and a Bachelors of
Social Work (Honours) from Ryerson University. Crystal has training is in Cognitive Behavioural
Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy (ACT). Crystal also has post-graduate training in Couple and Family therapy and
recently completed an EFT externship in Couple and Family therapy.
Crystal has had experience treating a wide variety of mental health issues including anxiety,
depression, emotional regulation, stress, grief and loss, self-esteem, family transitions and
eating disorders. Crystal also provides support to individuals exploring gender identity and
LGBTQ+ individuals and couples.
Her areas of special interest include burnout, infertility, adoption, childless and child free
couples, strengthening family communication and adjusting to health issues.
Crystal enjoys travel and health and fitness. Running and yoga are personal interests. Her
latest travels included a trip to Portugal and Spain with family.

Crystal is currently completing the internship component of the Master of Arts, Counselling Psychology program at Yorkville University. She has also completed the Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples Externship.
